“High impact consulting delivered by an experienced team using innovative and rigorous energy industry research approaches”
We have a close-knit team of consultants who have worked together on projects all over the world. We all bring unique insights to each project due to our diverse experiences in business consulting, program management and academia.
The WSS management team are all highly experienced energy industry business consultants and are committed to creating long-term relationships with our clients.
Our associates bring a combination of technical knowledge, practitioner insight or career expertise across a broad range of disciplines and industries, including:
We use hypothesis led business consulting frameworks to deliver our consulting projects. Our research projects take an academic approach, combining both careful review of secondary research followed by innovative primary research using our global network of energy industry contacts, our databases (proprietary & public) and other technical analysis. We carefully balance client site engagement with offsite work to ensure that our projects are delivered efficiently and with full client buy-in and control.
We challenge our clients to think differently and to take sufficient time during scope development to ensure that our projects are strategically aligned and the right questions answered from the outset.
Satellite Imaging. We use hyperspectral and conventional high resolution satellite imagery to add value to our non-technical risk projects. We collaborate with leading satellite companies to ensure that we deliver the best imagery and the best analysis through taking a whole of market approach to sourcing.
OFScreen™. OFScreen™ is our proprietary database of companies in the energy industry. The database was originally developed to focus on the UK market and is now being expanded to cover countries in Europe where there is a fast pace of innovation in energy technologies.
Deep Web. We have partnered with a deep web analysis company who use proprietary algorithms to catalogue relevant research content which is hidden from conventional search engines. The deep web is estimated to contain 400x the content of the visible web. This ability to see below the surface adds considerable value to our technology scouting and horizon scanning projects.
