ENERGY SECTOR RESEARCH ANALYST - WOKING, UK

Reporting to the Director of Consulting, you will be expected to develop consulting frameworks & analytical methodologies, conduct high-quality research, produce reports and to confidently present your results on paper and to clients

Required experience & qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in engineering or sciences from a top-tier university (MBA would be a plus)

  • 1-2 years relevant working experience, preferably in the energy industry (consulting experience would be a plus)

  • Written and oral fluency in English (fluency in another language would be a plus)

  • You are a clear and confident communicator, able to deliver your results in a concise and structured manner to clients and colleagues

  • You thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven yet intellectually rigorous environment

  • You can understand, scope and deliver accurate, timely and relevant quantitative & qualitative research through working with senior team members

  • You are an organized thinker who commits to learning best practice in research analysis including: methods, databases and tools, data synthesis and data visualisation

  • You are methodical and have a strong attention to detail, clarifying requested objectives and agreeing the most appropriate research approach

  • You work well both independently and in a collaborative team environment

  • You are highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with a basic knowledge of data science techniques and tools
